What's On at Scandals Birkenhead
Burlesque, Life Drawing, Theatre, Comedy, Art & Alternative Entertainment on the Wirral
A Little Art. A Little Mischief. A Lot of Scandals!
Who said an adult store was just for shopping?
At Scandals, we're doing things a little differently!
Our iconic Birkenhead superstore is becoming one of the Wirral's most unusual entertainment venues, hosting everything from burlesque life drawing and award-winning Edinburgh Fringe theatre to outrageous comedy, art exhibitions and fabulously alternative parties.
We're delighted to be working alongside Events 471, a fantastic Wirral-based events company, to bring an exciting programme of live performances, creativity and culture to Birkenhead.
Whether you're an art lover, theatre enthusiast, burlesque fan or simply looking for something a little different to do in Liverpool or the Wirral, there's something for everyone.
And yes, you can expect a little cheekiness along the way!

🎭 Edinburgh Fringe Theatre Comes to Scandals
27th & 28th November 2026 | 7pm–10pm
Two outrageous performances. One unforgettable double bill!
In collaboration with Events 471, we're bringing a taste of the Edinburgh Fringe to Birkenhead, with two brilliantly provocative theatrical productions.
The Gemini — Joan Cooper Snark
The next Fleabag, probably!
A witty, filthy and wonderfully chaotic exploration of relationships, loneliness, desire and navigating modern life.
Combining poetry, comedy and multimedia storytelling, The Gemini follows a woman's alter ego through heartbreak, self-discovery and her attempts at polyamory.
Neurodiverse, unapologetically funny and refreshingly honest, this is fringe theatre at its most entertaining.
Andre's Guide to Women — Pete Mitchelson
An outrageous comedy that takes aim at modern masculinity, online grifters and the world of self-proclaimed dating gurus.
Follow Andre on his hilariously misguided mission to become the ultimate champion of men's empowerment, with predictably ridiculous consequences.
Expect satire, outrageous humour and plenty of laughs!
Tickets:
-
£15 – General admission
-
£10 – Concessions
A cheap bar will also be available.
Tickets available through FIXR. Visit Events 471 for more information.
