Sales Assistant Duties
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Greet and assist customers upon their arrival at the shop. Provide guidance and address any inquiries, ranging from stock availability and special offers to pricing details.
- Product Knowledge: Comprehensive product knowledge is essential to offer informed assistance, and training will be provided.
- Transactions: Operating the cash register and handling customer transactions, encompassing both sales and refunds.
- Store Maintenance: Maintaining cleanliness and organisation on the shop floor. This involves tidying up, restocking items, and ensuring attractive product displays.
- Stock Management: Assisting in stock replenishment and managing deliveries when new products arrive.
- Excellence: Responding promptly to customer inquiries and providing excellent service.
Requirements
While proficiency in basic Math and English is necessary, prior work experience is not mandatory as comprehensive training will be provided.

Please be aware that this role often involves independent work. We are particularly interested in candidates who are self-disciplined and possess a friendly demeanour when engaging with customers. A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are preferred, as occasional travel between our three stores may be required.
